It had been some months now, without any disturbance at Midlam Manor, for which the Baron was grateful. However, on reflection, it was perhaps too quiet. No sooner had he considered this, then there was a terrible creaking of doors, mysterious footsteps and a most unholy wailing. The haunting of Midlam Manor had begun. It had long been known that the Baron’s ancient ancestral home was haunted, but sightings of ghosts had been mercifully rare. But now, from the great hall to the kitchens and from the dungeons to the battlements, all the lost souls of Midlam Manor walked the corridors once more...
