Adventures in Comic Books12 January 2013 | Admin Visitors to Midlam, might be wondering what the eldritch content of the strange tomes in the books department are? Well, these represent almost all of my adventures in comic books over more than ten years, from the spoof 70's/80's British kids comic Solar Wind, to the critically acclaimed science fiction anthology Omnivistascope (OVS) as well as collections of photocomic wizardy Warlock Holmes (star of both Solar Wind and OVS), Keegan Jask (OVS) and The Last Days of Man (OVS). While I am still actively producing comics, they have been somewhat put on the back burner as I attempt to make Midlam Miniatures function as a viable games and miniatures company. There has always been a small crossover between the gaming and comic audiuence, as I've found at the various comic and wargames shows I've been to, so it seems a natural place to keep them. Other books, beyond the comic books, will follow which will detail the world of Midlam, The Lost Mountains and Alberon. All the best Paul von Scott Midlam Miniatures p.s. Omnivistascope Model I contains a short 5 page strip which was intended to be the first in a series detailing the world of Alberon. |
